This month's highlighted activity is on Generics Awareness. People are encouraged to avoid self-medication and practice Rational Use of Medicines (RUM).

This coming September 29, 2016, DOH ROXIII will conduct an RUM Caravan to the three main health centers in Butuan City with the theme: "Sa Generics, sigurado ka!"

Other topics presented during the forum include: DTRC-Caraga Updates, "Walk for Life" for the Elderly Filipino Week on October 1, and HIV/AIDS updates.

Dr. Ernesto Pareja, Local Health Support Division Chief answered the questions by the media together with the other coordinators.

This forum is conducted on a monthly basis to inform media partners of the current issues and programs and other updates of the DOH.
